2- Stuffed Apples with Dried Fruits
Ingredients:
- 4 firm apples
For the filling:
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 80 g of toasted sliced almonds
- 80 g of toasted sesame seeds
- 80 g of chopped dates
- 80 g of chopped raisins
- 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water
- A pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Prepare the Apples: Use a knife to level the base of the apples so they stand upright. Core the apples and slightly trim the tops.
- Make the Filling: In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients until well combined.
- Stuff the Apples: Fill the apples with the mixture, shaping the top into a cone.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Bake the stuffed apples for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve: Serve the stuffed apples warm or at room temperature, accompanied by whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
