2- Stuffed Apples with Dried Fruits



Ingredients:

  • 4 firm apples

For the filling:

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 80 g of toasted sliced almonds
  • 80 g of toasted sesame seeds
  • 80 g of chopped dates
  • 80 g of chopped raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the Apples: Use a knife to level the base of the apples so they stand upright. Core the apples and slightly trim the tops.
  2. Make the Filling: In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients until well combined.
  3. Stuff the Apples: Fill the apples with the mixture, shaping the top into a cone.
  4. Bake: Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Bake the stuffed apples for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Serve: Serve the stuffed apples warm or at room temperature, accompanied by whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
